Driven by making an impact and inspiring change, our Smoke Free Beaches Movement was started to initiate and expand our understanding of contemporary issues and developing a campaign to push for a complete smoke ban on beaches. We work to ensure the community and local leaders have the knowledge, resources and opportunities to make a real change in society. Our Smoke Free Beaches campaign provides a tool for connecting and building a healthier world.

Our Vision
Smoke Free Beaches began as an Okaloosa Island, Florida Environmental Protection Movement focusing on social awareness and community action for clean air and clean beaches. We want to engage with people, adding more supporters, and amplifying our voices to ban smoking on beaches.
We challenge the notion that the way things are is the way things should always be, and are proud to be a force for positive transformation.
Smoke Free Beaches is a transformative Environmental Protection Movement that embraces a strategy of empowering the community from the ground up, and advocating for changes with a real impact.
What started as a local project, is quickly growing to encompass members from outside the Okaloosa County area. Together with our allies and partners, Smoke Free Beaches can engage and mobilize communities and their leaders to ban smoking on beaches.
